yup hardware-design, system-design plays a heavy influence when one lay their hands on the iphone,
but at the end, its still the apps that count
and one more thing is that, we must always consider the iphone in the same scenario as any pc in use,
It must have internet access, the faster the better. otherwise its just a really really common apparel if you are in Singapore.... (make a guess, of the 4 mil population in singapore, how many iphones are out there)
i've been on the iphone for 4 months now
it's good, with the exception that the sound quality for music playback is not even up to my cheapo meizu mini;
here are a list of my must have apps
Runkeeper pro - uses GPS to track your running distance,then plot out your journey on google map; i use it to do training for 2.4 run, very precise.
imeem - stream all your bookmarked music on imeem, although it does not allow u to skip track more than 6 times; but its still great~
orb - Stream local TV, mp3, video from your computer, more than fascinating.
Things -ridiculously simple, you enter things you wish to accomplish into a list, when its done u remove it.....yesh i use my iphone as a PDA.
Shozu - update all your social media via one application, simple idea, but the backend is really not simple at all, and considering it works perfectly. definitely a must have app.

For the past few months
I'm now really into reading knowledge management books,
read wikinomics, wasnt really good, kinda boring....
but i found a title that is quite outstanding.
Summary;
This book examines why organizations often know what is the best thing to do, but choose not to do it.
